For your consideration is this Dunkirk Silversmiths Sterling Silver weighted round compote bowl. Featuring a mid century modern gadroon border. Measures 2.5 inches tall, 625 inches diameter at bowl and 2.75 inches diameter at the base. Weighs 176 grams.

This compote was made by Dunkirk Silversmiths of Meriden, Connecticut, active during the mid-20th century (c. 1945–1950). Maker's mark shows the Dunkirk trademark symbols featuring an eagle head, the gothic letter 'D', and a colonial gentleman.
