This is the Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special (Made in Mexico), a Jazzmaster with modern playability.
While it features the standard Jazzmaster configuration?an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard?it boasts modern specifications such as a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, a 648mm (25.5") scale length, a 42.2mm nut, and medium-jumbo frets. It also features a HOT single-coil Jazzmaster pickup, a fixed Adjusto-Matic bridge, and a screw-mounted tremolo arm.
This Jazzmaster retains the classic look of yesteryear while offering modern playability tailored for today�fs players.
Signs of use are visible (color fading, paint chipping around the endpin, paint cracks at the joint, minor scratches and scuffs along the outer edges, scuff marks and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, pickguard warping, discoloration, clouding, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.).
It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string action adjustment, fret leveling, and pickup cushion replacement). The fret heights are at a level suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; operation has been confirmed up to �}60�� (currently set slightly tight).
