Up for sale is an authentic vintage Polish miner's safety lamp with flame, model LB1A, manufactured by Elektrometal Cieszyn. This historic piece of mining equipment is crafted from durable metals and features an original protective wire mesh and a heavy safety glass cylinder. It served both as a traditional lighting fixture in coal mines and as an important detector for methane content.


The lamp's brass ring bears clear official hallmarks from the Polish Mining Authority, BM 976/71, confirming its authentic industrial origin. The heat-resistant safety glass cylinder bears the German HSW logo, which was the standard and widely used replacement glass for these Polish and Eastern European miner's lamps.  This is a highly sought-after collectible for lovers of historical mining relics.
