Charming Steiff “Teddy Baby” bear, a replica of the classic 1930 design.

This expressive brown bear measures approximately 11½ inches tall and features a lighter muzzle and paw pads, glass-like eyes, an open mouth with felt tongue, and stitched black nose and claws. Teddy wears his original red collar with brass-colored bell.

He retains his Steiff button in ear with yellow ear tag numbered 0175/29, as well as the original “Steiff Original Marke – Teddy Baby Replica 1930” chest tag. The head, arms, and legs are jointed, allowing him to be posed standing or sitting.

Condition is very good overall, with attractive, full fur and a sweet face. The collar, bell, ear tag, button, and chest tag are all present. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.

A wonderful addition to a Steiff, teddy bear, or vintage toy collection.
