Up for auction is a highly collectible, original vintage Bowman "Hipower" Water Motor. Produced in England during the golden era of live steam toys, these miniature water-driven turbines were designed to hook directly up to a household water tap to generate mechanical power for driving small dynamos, model workshop machines, and steam engine accessories.

* **Mechanics:** Excellent. The internal turbine wheel turns smoothly and freely with no binding or freezing. The original adjustment/direction screw also turns
* **Cosmetics:** The piece retains its original red painted finish with a lovely, honest patina showing paint loss and chipping from genuine historic use. The highly sought-after blue and gold metal maker's badge on the front face remains intact and legible, reading: *"The Bowman 'Hipower' Water Motor, Pro. Pat. No3. 25618 38041..."*
