Eleven paperbacks in all comprising Rosemary Sutcliff’s The Silver Branch (Puffin, 1984); Warrior Scarlet (Puffin, 1976); Dragon Slayer (two copies, Puffin, 1973, 1976); Paul Berna’s Flood Warning (Puffin, 1962); James Reeves’ The Cold Flame (Puffin, 1970); Henry Treece’s Horned Helmet (Puffin, 1965); Kenneth McLeish’s The Story of Aeneas

(Hodder & Stoughton, 1973); Joan Tate’s Jenny (Heinemann, 1964, a paperback original); Lee Cooper’s The Strange Feathery Beast and Other French Fables (Carousel, 1973); and Mitchell and Margetts’ La Caza del Lobo (Longmans, 1964, a paperback original). The volumes with illustrated card wrappers, and usually illustrated throughout in his customary enigmatic style. Most very good to fine. Two from libraries with one or two stamps each, but all clean and bright.
