Beautiful vintage hand-stitched needlepoint featuring a detailed old-world village landscape.

The scenic design depicts cottages surrounded by trees, a stone bridge over water, clouds and a winding path. Rich shades of green, gold, rust, blue, cream and brown create a warm traditional landscape against a dark background.

The needlepoint includes a fully stitched black border surrounding the colorful scene. It is displayed under glass in a simple black frame with both an easel-style tabletop stand and hanging hardware.

The frame appears utilitarian and may have been added later; the age of the frame should not be considered an indication of the age of the textile.
