Up for sale is a wonderful piece of 1970s childhood nostalgia: a Vintage Mettoy / Corgi Hand-Cranked Super 8mm Movie Viewer bundle.


This lot includes the rarer Red Viewer variant featuring the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Panda emblem on the side dial. It comes complete with two Walt Disney Movie Viewer cartridges.


What’s Included in This Bundle:

Red Handheld Movie Viewer housing featuring the World Wildlife Fund logo dial.

Blue Cartridge: Walt Disney Movie Viewer – Goofy (Item No. 7616).

White Cartridge: Walt Disney Movie Viewer – Herbie Rides Again / Full Speed Igen Herbie (Item No. 7620).


Condition & Important Information (SOLD AS-IS):

Cosmetics: The items are in good vintage aesthetic condition given their age. The labels show expected wear / peeling, and aging as clearly photographed. The plastic body has minor surface marks ect but no major cracks.


Functionality: This bundle is being sold as-is for collectors, restoration enthusiasts, or display props. I have tested it and although a basic vintage clunky it does spin the movies which play in true vintage quality (don’t expect today quality!)
I have tried to upload pictures of what can be seen through the viewing window to help.
The focus wheel works and does focus the movie in and out although again in true vintage style is not as stiff as it once was.

Iv had this since I was a child, a nostalgic find during a recent loft clearout, having shown my grandchildren , who although intrigued , I have decided to find it a new owner who will appreciate it in all its vintage glory and give it the tlc it deserves.
