Beautiful antique Japanese Kutani porcelain cabinet plate by Kaburaki, dating to the late Meiji period (circa 1890–1910). This finely hand-painted plate features elegant scenic reserves with traditional Japanese figures, mountainous landscapes, flowering cherry trees, and a bird perched among maple branches. The remaining surface is richly decorated in the classic kinrande style with intricate raised gold brocade patterns and iron red enamels, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship for which Kaburaki Kutani is known.
The reverse bears the red Kutani Kaburaki Seizō (Made by Kaburaki) mark. Measures approximately 6 inches in diameter.
This plate is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The gilding remains bright and vibrant with only minimal age-related wear consistent with careful display. A wonderful addition to any collection of fine Japanese Kutani porcelain or Meiji-era decorative arts.
