This is a stunning Antique, George II period, miniature Sterling Silver Cream Pail in the form of a Peat Bucket. To the base are the Silver hallmarks for the maker Samuel Herbert & Co, the London Assay Office and the date letter for 1751.

This is a lovely solid piece, weighing 83.9g and is in very good condition with just a little age-related wear, which includes a slightly mis-shapen handle, but no dings or dents. It measures approximately 10cm high, including the handle and 5.5cm high to the top of the pail itself and 7cm in diameter at the rim.
