This is a Laura Ashley blouse dating from the late 1970s which is in excellent condition for its age.
It was passed on to me by my godmother and I wore it regularly until the early 1990s. Sadly a tad too snug a fit now.
Long sleeves with ruffled lacy cuffs
Gentle v-neck with ruffled lacy collar
White cotton material with a raised dot pattern.
The labels have been removed, probably as they would have been visible when wearing. A remnant of the label can be seen which is distinctive and recognisable as Laura Ashley.
I am guessing this is around a size 10 as the bust measures approx 34 inches. (Very likely a 12 in the 70s)
There are four minute pin holes on the back of the collar which are shown on photo. These are unnoticeable when wearing.
I have very recently had the elastic on the sleeves replaced as the original had perished.
