Rare vintage 1930s Ronson Rondelight Art Metal Works petrol table lighter

An unusual and rare early version of the Ronson Rondelight ball lighter manufactured at the Art Metal Works in Newark NJ USA in the 1930s. Unlike later versions the Old Standard fitment slides out of the top rather than forming part of the ball. The lighter has had a hard life and has multiple dings and the paintwork is scratched. It looks as if at one time it had a lacquer coating over the green paint that has deteriorated (see photos).

The lighter works but fuel or flints are not included to ensure safety in the post.
