In a marriage of text and full colour illustration over 30 species and 120 sub species of the Troides, Ornithoptera and Trogonoptera butterflies are discussed.

Over 300 actual sized colour plates show the true magnificent of these creatures. Where applicable both the recto and verso sides of the specimens are shown. Illustrations also include examples of some of the different species of Aristolochia foliage, fruit, and flowers, the Birdwing food plant which has, for years, been of great interest to scientists, botanists and collectors alike.

Condition report

The book is in very good condition: it has been read and handled carefully, and all internal pages are clean and clear of any writing. There is light discolouration on the spine of the dust jacket and at the cutout sections of the slipcase. The binding is tight and square. The slipcase is in good condition with light rubbing, discolouration and several marks from handling and shelf wear.

Returns

We are always happy to accept a return if the buyer is not happy with a book they receive. In the unlikely event you do encounter an issue with your item or delivery, please do message us before opening a case, as we will always do our best to address the issue.

For domestic buyers, we always refund excess shipping charges where more than two items are bought.
