Gorgeous art border souvenir postcard from the Japanese Shipping Company Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line). This card was posted in 1912 and features an image of the steamer S.S. Inaba Maru. This ship sailed with passengers and cargo between Japan and London with stops at many ports along the way. She was known to have arrived in North American ports such as Victoria B.C. and Seattle in 1912.  Condition: Card has two diagonal creases, one in the lower left corner, and the other crease in the upper right quadrant. Noticeable edge wear and minor corner bumps. There is a soiled spot on the sky over the ship image. Light soiling elsewhere on the front. The back side has considerable soiling.
