Vintage Kodak Automatic 35 35mm Film Camera with Case
Offered here is a vintage Kodak Automatic 35 35mm film camera with a Kodak Ektanar 44mm f/2.8 lens and Kodak leather case. Introduced around 1959, the Kodak Automatic 35 was one of Kodak's early automatic exposure 35mm cameras and remains a nice collectible example of mid-century American camera design.
This camera has a classic silver and black body, Kodak Synchro 80 shutter, and vintage rangefinder-style appearance. It is a great piece for Kodak collectors, vintage camera display, film photography enthusiasts, or restoration/service projects.
Condition & Testing
The camera is in good vintage cosmetic condition with light age-related wear, scuffs, marks, and normal signs of handling. The included Kodak leather case shows wear from age and use, including scuffs, marks, separation and general surface wear. It is also engraved with a prior owners Social Security number.
The shutter fires and the film advance lever works. The camera has not been film-tested, and no guarantee is made regarding automatic exposure accuracy, shutter timing, aperture accuracy, meter response, lens performance, light seals, or final image results.
