This copy is being offered primarily as a restoration project / collectible reference copy.

The book has extensive age and structural damage. The binding has substantially failed, with the covers and text block separating and numerous pages/sections loose or detached. There is heavy wear, tearing and deterioration to the spine and edges.

Despite the poor condition, the book retains considerable appeal because of its 1895 publication date, original illustrated cloth cover, period illustrations, title page and 19th-century publisher's material.

Please examine all photographs carefully before purchasing.

Sold as-is due to extensive binding damage.
