Up for auction/sale is a beautiful antique sterling silver triple-draw (3-section) telescopic pocket/chatelaine propelling pencil by the prestigious English makers S. MORDAN & Co. (Sampson Mordan).

This piece features the highly desirable "VS" (Very Small) lead size stamp on the collar, identifying it as one of Mordan's classic fine-lead writing instruments.

Condition & Mechanism Note (Please Read):
- The internal pin responsible for automatically extending the bottom lead end has sheared off.
- Due to this, the internal propelling rod does not turn or advance automatically. The three telescopic sections must be extended and retracted completely manually.
- Sold strictly as-is for restoration, parts, or as a beautiful historical display piece for a writing instrument collection.

Cosmetic Condition:
- Silver displays a wonderful antique patina with light surface scratches and minor wear consistent with its 100+ year age.
- Stamped clearly "S. MORDAN & CO" on the barrel. Includes the top suspension loop/fob ring intact.

Please inspect all high-resolution close-up photos to review the mechanism notch and overall metal condition. Will be packaged securely and shipped tracked/insured.
