This is a very nice looking and excellent functioning cornet that has been reconditioned to ensure total reliability throughout its daily use for years to come.  As with most pre-owned instruments, it does contain an assortment of dings, scratches and finish loss consistent with student use.  This cornet has been ultrasonically cleaned and flushed and all worn out valve guides, stem felts, top cap felts, valve springs and water key corks have been replaced.  All tuning slides were polished clean and received new grease, and all three valves are oiled and responsive. All braces are tight and secure. This Yamaha YCR 2310  cornet is a solid, dependable instrument perfect for students, hobbyists, or anyone looking for a quality horn at a good value. It comes in its original Yamaha hard case in excellent condition, and with the standard Yamaha 9 cornet mouthpiece.
