This is a mint, shrink-wrapped copy of Empire of the Sun 5^h Printing in the deluxe format with the 3 inch deep boxing format by GMT Games.  The copyright of this new 5^th printing is 2025 and the stock number is 0501-25.  Mark Herman designed the game that is a card driven strategy board game of the Pacific War, 1941-1945.  This new 5^th printing incorporates the later version 2 of the Card Driven Solitaire System (CDSS) allowing a player to game either side against an artificial opponent and has added several new strategy cards and revised player aids.  Also, included in this latest printing is the South Pacific Scenario that originally appeared in C3i issue 30.  Game parts are one 22 inch by 34 inch full-color deluxe mounted game map, one 11 inch by 17 inch unmounted mini-map, 1.5 sheets of full-color, die-cut counters, two identical CRT cards, one player aid card, one Allied set-up card, one Japanese set-up card, two Erasus Bot tri-folds, two decks of strategy cards (86 Japanese and 84 Allied), the 2^nd Edition rules booklet, a solitaire rules booklet, and two 10-sided dice.  The game is in mint condition in the original shrink-wrap.  MSRP on this new 5^th printing is $88.00.
