Listing: 3 x pharmacy / chemistry recipe formular 

Condition: Used, antique condition. No original packaging. This is a collection of three antique books with handwritten recipes / forumulas. The books have ink and pencil markings, the writing is not always clear, some written in short hand and older chemist / pharmacy weights measurements used. One book is marked as 1848. Another has dates from 1918. The recipes / formulas are antique / historic and have not been tested. The lock on one book was broken to gain access. There is cover wear, spine wear, page wear. Some discoloration to pages. Some pages are blank. A variety of recipes included. This listing is best for historical collection. From smoke-free and pet free premises.

Description: A collection of three hand written pharmacy / chemistry recipe and formula books. 

One book has the name Robert Cook (possibly Junior?) in the front. This book is labelled as being started in 1848. A second book has several references to the year 1918 next to multiple recipes. 

All hand written in ink and pencil. The recipes and formulas cover a range of medicinal purposes and houshold purposes. There is also a couple of printed pages from 1962, from the British National Formulary first admendment,

The recipes have not been checked for accuracy. It is likely with the age of these items, the recipes contain some questionable component choices compared to modern pharmacy knowledge and safety measures. 

A historic set, ideal for collectors of historic science, apothecary or chemistry items.
