1960’s / 1970’s VINTAGE BRITISH MADE SYRIPED CROCKET JUMPER
BAR-WIN BRAND - MADE IN ENGLAND
DEADSTOCK UNWORN CONDITION - SIZE L 40” - MEDIUM TO LARGE SIZE
For sale here is a 1960’s / 1970’s vintage British made acrylic cricket jumper, classic English styling with red and black stripes to the v-neck and cuffs.
The manufacturer is given as “Bar-win”, I have not been able to find out anything about this company other than it was known to manufacture knitwear from the 1900’s until at least the late 1960’s.
CONDITION: Jumper is in unused Deadstock condition, it comes from the redundant stocks of a long closed-down sports shop. There are one or two miniscule spot marks from storage but these are so tiny I am being crazy even mentioning them, this is new and unworn, timewarp condition.
SIZE: Label size is given as LARGE 40”, it is true to size but by modern standards it could be considered more of a Medium, please consider the measurements as they come up in the tape which are as follows: 40" chest (20" pit-to-pit), 16" across the shoulders, 18" under-arm (With cuff folded back), 27" from rear collar seam to bottom of jumper.
ONE ONLY, a classic piece of vintage British sporting knitwear in Deadstock condition.
