Vintage W. Britain Ltd. Britains Farm No. 138F Four-Furrow Tractor Plough, made in London, England, probably c.1951–1956, from an overall production period of approximately 1951–1961. 

This example is the desirable Long Box Picture Pack variant, retaining its original elongated illustrated carton with colourful farmyard scene, W. Britain trademark and correctly printed “4-Furrow Tractor Plough No. 138F – Made in England” end label. The painted metal plough is finished in its traditional green with red wheels and detailing, four grey/silver ploughshares, guide wheel and tractor attachment framework. 

The model retains strong original presentation with expected age-related paint wear and minor oxidation, while the scarce pictorial box remains attractive but shows rubbing, staining, creasing and areas of surface loss, including a noticeable abrasion to the illustrated panel. 

A particularly appealing original boxed Long Box example of Britains No. 138F, combining an iconic early post-war Britains Farm implement with its increasingly important original period packaging.
