This is a charming Antique Samuel Fisher Gilt Metal Trinket or Jewellery Box with a detailed Cherub design, made c1850. To the base is the Fisher mark as well as 188 Strand. It is in good condition but does exhibit some age-related wear, but no dings or dents to note and it measures approximately 14cm wide by 7cm deep by 5cm high. There’s no key for the lock but the clasp is intact and it pushes into place to keep it closed.
