Offered is a factory-sealed original 1987 pressing of Alligator Crawl & Ostrich Walk by Watergate Seven Plus One, released on Stomp Records (S.O.S. 1165).

Still in its original factory shrink wrap, this copy has never been opened, making it an increasingly scarce example of this independent traditional jazz release. Sealed copies of small-label Dixieland and New Orleans revival LPs are rarely encountered, particularly from the 1980s.

Inspired by the legendary Lu Watters Yerba Buena Jazz Band, the album features spirited performances of classic traditional jazz standards including Alligator Crawl, Ostrich Walk, Creole Belles, See See Rider, and Ragtime Dance.

The colorful cover artwork by Joe Mathieu makes this an attractive display piece as well as an excellent addition to any traditional jazz collection.
