Please note: the boots appear to have an added comfort insole installed over the original leather insole. The original insole is still underneath. This added insole seems to be glued mainly in the toe/forefoot area (the heel can lift slightly), which is common with cobbler-installed inserts and helps keep it from shifting.

Because of this extra layer, the boots may fit slightly tighter (closer to a 9.5 depending on foot shape).

The insert should be removable, but since it is glued down in the front I would recommend having a cobbler remove it to avoid damaging the lining or original insole.
