For Fronius Smart Meters
The solution for larger
photovoltaic systems: The easy-to-connect Fronius Smart Meter CT current
transformer can be used to measure higher currents without having to disconnect
the power supply.
This is possible thanks
to its split core technology where the transformer is placed around the cable
to be measured without the need to disconnect the cable for installation.
The transformer
converts the measured current into a signal that can be measured by the Fronius
Smart Meter. The Smart Meter then converts the signal to the original primary
current using the conversion ratio.
The result is reliable
measurement of key data, enabling even larger PV systems to be optimized.
The current
transformers, which are suitable for the Fronius Smart Meters, guarantee
maximum convenience for installers.
Due to the simple
split-core technology, one end of the current transformers can be removed,
without the need to disconnect the cable for the installation. This means that
the Fronius current transformers can be installed in an easy and quick way
