It’s a brand-new Spectrum Advanced WiFi 6 Router, model SAX1V1K, still sealed in the original plastic wrap.

It’s a tower-style router with 4x4 MU-MIMO on both bands, a 2.5-gigabit WAN port, three gigabit LAN ports, and a quiet internal fan.

Hardware specs include a Qualcomm IPQ8072A quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor at 2.2 gigahertz, two gigabytes of DDR3 RAM, and one gigabyte of eMMC storage.

For wireless, it has dual-band WiFi 6 with 4x4 MU-MIMO on both 2.4 and 5 gigahertz bands. The 2.4 gigahertz band reaches up to about 1,174 megabits per second, and the 5 gigahertz up to 2,402.

Networking features a 2.5 gigabit WAN port, three gigabit LAN ports, and supports up to 250 concurrent devices.

Other details: a quiet internal fan, wall-mount bracket, 12-volt 3-amp power supply, WPA2 security, IPv4 and IPv6 support, and My Spectrum app management.
