We have a very old automobile clock from 1888-1920 that is rough and rusted but except for the crystal, might all be there? Case is 3 1/4” in diameter. It has a very faded “UDALL & BALLOU” on the white face under the “12”. Very interesting watch as the winding mechanism comes out near the “8” at a weird angle - possibly for a very specific car?? Back has a slit to see into the mechanism and the word REPOSE in all caps in the metal. Open back has the word BREVET and 5 impressed numbers and or letters - the first looks like an “s” or a “5” in a box, next is a “6” in a box , followed by “236” - eyes not perfect and magnifying glass not clear. Looks like 2 rubies or red crystals above. Crown does town clockwise and gears move but no apparent working of the mechanism - being sold as is. Small side dent near the “10” on rear side and some cracks in the porcelain face, but not bad - see photos.
