A monograph on the life and work of Manolo Millares, an artist originally from the Canary Islands who relocated to Madrid in the 1950's. Influenced by Surrealism, Millares, a self-taught artist, helped to found the Madrid group, El Paso, and was perhaps best known for his collages of combining painting and found materials. VERY GOOD+ condition, with light toning to the jacket.
