FROGGIE BEAVER "FROM THE POND" (PRIVATE PRESS) 1973 “

The vinyl M- condition. Beautiful. It looks unplayed with pristine labels. The cover is in VG+ condition, LITE RW.EDGEWEAR Clean. Very light shelf wear.”

Overall, I think From The Pond is quite great, despite having a few weaker moments overall. The tracks that leaned more progressive are the stronger one but that is not to say the ballads were weak in terms of songwriting. It's a shame that Froggie Beaver didn't take off, though they had some tracks that could have worked as decent-sized hits, I feel they were somewhat destined for the underground. There is complexity to this record that you wouldn't expect from the cover or band name
