When released, this loco had sub-standard orange multiple working cables fitted. Accurascale replaced these, and the replacements are included (but not fitted) with this loco.

This is one of the first of several batches of OO gauge model railway locos that I am begrudgingly listing on behalf of a friend.

He started collecting a few years ago but fell ill soon after. He kept buying regularly, with the intention of building his layout once he felt well enough. Over these short years he accumulated hundreds of locos, with just a relatively small amount of coaching stock 

Unfortunately his health has not improved enough for him to build his dream, and it now seems it is never going to do so. He has now made the sad decision to part with about 80% of his locos and stock, mainly because he needs to generate some income - and make some space in the house. Whatever locos he keeps will, at best, take their turn in the display case.

Pretty much all the items listed are "New - other" and have never been out of their boxes apart from a few that have stood in a glass display case, and to have their photos taken ready for listing. So far as running goes, what you see in the video is pretty much 50% of each loco's total running time (I did a similar test run prior to filming), therefore on a par with the average model shop demo.

Although we will consider offers, acceptance will pretty much depend on how long the item has been listed for, and comparable items on the market. As I said earlier, the aim is for my friend to raise money, so we're not doing giveaway prices.
