Here is a very nice Mitrailleuse needle case      advertising Lewis's Ltd Liverpool Manchester Birmingham

Date range - late 1800's early 1900's.

Lewis's Ltd was a pioneering British department store chain founded by David Lewis, featuring major historic flagships in Liverpool, Manchester, and Birmingham.

Mitrailleuse needle cases were primarily made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries (c. 1876–1910). The earliest versions—featuring the distinctive rotating cylindrical design named after the multi-barrel machine gun—were provisionally registered on September 8, 1876, by Frank S. Kendrick in Birmingham.

These clever Edwardian and Victorian novelties were largely produced in England, primarily in the needle-making hubs of Redditch and Birmingham:

• Design Concept: The word "Mitrailleuse" is French for a multi-barrel machine gun (like a volley gun). This inspired the case's design, which features a cylindrical cluster of small tubes inside that hold different sizes of sewing needles.
