An increasingly difficult-to-find reference recording the officers and men of the 1st Battalion, The Gloucestershire Regiment, who fought during the Battle of the Imjin River in Korea in April 1951.
The battle became one of the most famous actions fought by the British Army after the Second World War, with the Gloucesters holding their position against overwhelming Chinese forces before many survivors were taken prisoner.
Compiled by Colonel E. D. Harding D.S.O., this book records those who served during the battle and remains an important reference work for regimental historians, Korean War collectors and family historians.
