Complete 25-volume set of The Waverley Novels (The Melrose Edition) by Sir Walter Scott, published around 1900 by T. C. & E. C. Jack, Edinburgh. 

These antique hardbacks feature embossed red cloth covers with ornate floral/thistle tooling and gilt spine lettering. 

The set includes classic titles like Ivanhoe, Rob Roy, and Kenilworth, illustrated with frontispiece plates throughout. 

Overall, the set is in good condition for its age. All 25 volumes are present with clean, intact pages, but condition varies slightly across individual books - some covers show more wear, spine fading, and edge rubbing than others.
