Authentic vintage Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) officer's dress tunic, believed to date from the late 1930s to World War II era (circa 1938–1945). This is a privately tailored officer's uniform featuring original King's Crown "CANADA" anchor buttons, a double-breasted wool construction, officer's executive curl rank lace, original ribbon bars, and the original tailor's label from M. Hebert Ltd., Montreal, Quebec.

The King's Crown buttons confirm the tunic predates 1953, while the tailoring, construction, and insignia are consistent with Royal Canadian Navy officer uniforms worn before and during the Second World War. The original ribbon bars remain attached and add to the historical appeal.

The tailor's label is handwritten with what appears to read:

"Mr. Laurent Alastair E. Hull"

Although I have not verified the officer's identity, the named label offers excellent research potential for collectors interested in Canadian military history.

Condition:

Good vintage condition overall with expected wear for its age. There are several light discoloration marks on the front from age and storage (shown in the photos). They look like they would come out at the dry cleaners but there's always a risk. I did not find any obvious moth holes or structural damage. There is one pin hole size hole, but nothingnoticeable. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description. It actually looks really good and let you are closely inspecting and using different light angles, then you can see some of the damage but at first glance it looks really good
