This item is
Vintage Japanese Samurai Kabuto Helmet Display Set Boys' Day Ornament Gold Trim circa 1970~1980s.
This is an ornate Japanese Kabuto (samurai helmet) display set, traditionally used for Boys’ Day celebrations (Tango no Sekku). The helmet features rich gold detailing, vibrant orange cords, and a decorative crest drum with a mitsudomoe design. Likely made in the late Showa to early Heisei era, this piece showcases the craftsmanship and tradition of Japanese seasonal festivals. A striking collectible or display item.
There is a repair mark on the left leg of the display case. The front left ornament is detached. A tape repair is visible on the back side of the drum.
