The is a proof of posting reference number assigned to each consignment generated by Royal Mail which matches the visible QR code on the protected cards consignment along with the buyers address is documented for each order. Royal Mail can use for its precise location as it's scanned and traveled through their network, right through to the local postie. This is not a buyer/seller tracking number, but purely a reference number applied to the 2nd class postage supplied which can be used in the event of compensation for loss / damage to item.
