Large 3-sheet vellum indenture manuscript [conveyance] and dated 2nd November 1780 between John Howell of the Parish of Cheriton in the County of Kent [Yeoman] of the one part and Adam Castle of the Parish of Folkestone in the County of Kent [Yeoman] of the other part. 

The document relates to the said messuage or tenement commonly called or known by the name of "The Lower Sheep Court" with the outhouses edifices buildings garden and hemp land and appurtenances and those two pieces or parcels of land situate lying and being in the Parish of Waltham in the County of Kent, in consideration of the sum of £208.

The indenture with age related folds, rubbing and creasing to the folds, yellowing and minor soiling to each sheet, fully legible, complete with three embossed wax seals and signed.
