'buck a disc' listing. up for auction today is a 2009 issued CD of the rare 1978 'live in the studio' promo album

from the soft/folk rock band The LeBlanc-Carr Band titled 'Live From The Atlantic Studios'. hte LBC band were

a very short-lived (one studio album) from the late 70's, led by Lenny LeBlanc (the song 'Hound Dog Man') and

Pete Carr (Hourglass (Allman Brothers) & Paul Simon), who had three chart singles from their one album, and

this is one of those late 1970s promotional live albums that was a record company fad at the time. this set has

the three singles (the biggest one being 'Falling'), LeBlancs 'Hound Dog Man' and a representative sampling of

Carr's solo work. after this, Carr went to session man work, and LeBlanc enjoyed a long career as a CCM artist.

should be a good buy for 1970s soft rock fans. Wounded Bird WOU-1003 w/4pp booklet reproducing original 

album cover. allmusic.com rates this at 3 stars of 5.
