Beautiful 19th-century French Comtoise (Morbier) wall clock, signed "Beaume-Massiet à Torigni" on the porcelain dial.

This elegant example dates to the Napoleon Ill period (circa 1860-1880) and features an ornate repoussé brass surround decorated with peacocks, birds, flowers, and fruits - a classic motif of Second Empire artistry.

The clock retains its pridinal iron and brass weight-driven movement with large wheels and rope-drum winding system, visible from the rear.

The pendulum features an intricate lyre and floral design, matching the elaborate case front.
