Beautiful antique postcard or photograph album featuring decorative Art Nouveau-style floral and foliate designs throughout.

The album measures approximately 14.5” x 10.5” x 2.5” and contains approximately 60 individual album leaves, providing 120 decorated sides. Many of the leaves still retain all or some of their original four corner supports/mounts formerly used to hold postcards or photographs.

Please note that this is an empty album. No postcards or photographs are included.

Condition: This album is in poor, fragile condition and is being sold strictly AS IS as a restoration, repair, display, or creative reuse project. Upon close inspection, all of the interior leaves appear to be detached from the binding at the base. The paper is delicate, particularly around the edges, with varying degrees of tears, chipping, edge losses, creasing, and general age-related deterioration. Some leaves are more heavily damaged than others.

The cloth-covered exterior boards show substantial age and wear, including discoloration, staining, rubbing, fraying, and wear/losses at the edges and corners. The binding and internal structure have significantly deteriorated.

Despite its condition, the album retains considerable decorative appeal. The approximately 60 surviving leaves feature attractive repeating period floral and foliate patterns on both sides, while the front cover has a colorful raised floral design. Many leaves also preserve their original postcard/photo corner mounts.

An interesting surviving antique album suitable for someone interested in restoration, antique paper and ephemera, period album components, display, or creative reuse.

Approximately 60 leaves / 120 decorated sides. All leaves appear detached from the binding.

Please review all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description. Due to the age and fragility of the paper, careful handling is recommended.

Sold exactly as pictured, AS IS. No postcards or photographs included.
