The Style 177N is Victaulic’s QuickVic Installation-Ready flexible coupling for grooved carbon steel and stainless steel pipe. Unlike conventional grooved couplings, it does not require the nuts and bolts to be removed for installation — the coupling arrives pre-assembled and is pushed directly onto the prepared pipe ends, then tightened, which is where the bulk of the installation time savings comes from.

As a flexible coupling it deliberately allows a controlled amount of linear movement and angular deflection at each joint, so it is specified where a piping system has to absorb thermal expansion and contraction, building settlement, seismic movement, vibration, or noise transmission. This is the 2" / DN50 size, for pipe with a 2.375" / 60.3 mm outside diameter, cut or roll grooved to Victaulic OGS specifications.
