Drop pods are self-contained, recoverable orbital descent capsules, each designed to deliver a squad of Space Marines. They are used for surprise attacks and combat drops into the midst of active war zones, with Legiones Astartes warships showering them down like ordnance from the edge of space towards their target. Drop pods are armoured and reinforced to withstand the rigours of re-entry, but their true defence is speed.

Included is a drop pod which was started in the painting process and can be easily recovered and finalised. The doors are not glued shut or open.
