The Mir-1v (often listed as Mir-1B) 37mm f/2.8 is an absolute cult icon among street photographers, landscape artists, and vintage cine-mod filmmakers. Based on the celebrated Carl Zeiss Flektogon optical design, the original Mir-1 formula famously won the prestigious Grand Prix at the 1958 Brussels World's Fair.

This lens is in Excellent Cosmetic & Flawless Mechanical condition. It has been completely disassembled, cleaned, calibrated, and serviced in our specialized workshop:
Deep Cleaned & Relubricated: The focus helicoid was completely stripped of sticky, decades-old Soviet factory grease and relubricated with premium modern optical grease. The focusing ring now glides with a uniform, buttery-smooth, and precise resistance.
Snappy Preset Aperture Mechanism: The specialized preset aperture system has been fully inspected and cleaned. The aperture ring turns perfectly, and the dry blades open and close flawlessly without any oil residue.
Optics: The glass elements are clean, clear, and properly aligned. The front optical element is in excellent/pristine condition. The rear optical element shows some light, minor cleaning marks from previous maintenance, which is completely standard for a lens of this era, (Note: Being a vintage item, minor microscopic cleaning marks or natural signs of use may be present under close inspection, which have absolutely zero effect on image quality or contrast).
Cosmetics: Beautiful vintage condition. The classic black anodized metal barrel is remarkably clean with minimal signs of previous storage or light handling. All distance markings and scales are sharp and perfectly readable. (Please review our high-resolution photos for exact cosmetic details).
