What truly sets the Flektogon apart from other wide-angle lenses of its era is its remarkable close-focus capability of just 0.18 meters (18 cm). Deep Cleaned & Relubricated: The complex focusing helicoid was completely stripped of sticky, dried-up vintage grease and relubricated with premium modern optical grease. The focusing ring now glides with a uniform, buttery-smooth, and precise resistance throughout the entire range (from 0.18m to infinity).
Snappy & Clean Aperture Mechanism: The aperture blades have been thoroughly cleaned and degreased. The mechanism is completely dry and snappy, and the manual/auto selector switch works perfectly.
Optics: The genuine Zeiss glass elements are remarkably clean, clear, and perfectly aligned. No fungus, no deep scratches, no separation, and no heavy haze. (Note: Being a vintage item, minor microscopic cleaning marks or natural signs of use may be present under close inspection, which have absolutely zero effect on image quality or contrast).
