Description

The floating-mounted Brembo 208A98553 brake disc from the T-Drive series combines state-of-the-art racing technology with the highest manufacturing quality and offers maximum performance for high-performance sport motorcycles. The patented T-Drive system connects the stainless steel friction ring to the aluminium inner carrier via T-shaped drive pins, enabling optimal thermal expansion and consistently high braking performance even under extreme thermal and mechanical loads.

The floating mounting reduces stresses between the friction ring and the carrier, improves lateral runout accuracy and ensures consistent contact between the brake pads and the brake disc at all times. This results in a precise braking point, excellent modulation and stable braking performance even under intensive use. At the same time, the lightweight aluminium inner carrier helps reduce unsprung mass, thereby improving handling and riding dynamics.

The friction ring, manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, features a specially developed hole pattern for effective heat dissipation, water displacement and cleaning of the friction surface. The T-Drive series is based on Brembo’s many years of experience in international motorcycle racing and meets the highest demands in terms of performance, durability and reliability.
