Description

The floating-mounted Brembo 208B47048 brake disc from the Xtra Groove series combines a sporty design with state-of-the-art braking technology and offers a high-performance solution for demanding road riders. The distinctive grooves on the friction surface improve brake pad cleaning, support the removal of water, brake dust and wear particles, and ensure consistent braking performance under a wide range of riding conditions.

The floating design allows controlled movement of the stainless steel friction ring relative to the aluminium inner carrier. This reduces thermally induced stresses, improves lateral runout accuracy and ensures consistent contact between the brake pad and the brake disc. The result is a precise braking point, excellent modulation and high durability even during sporty riding.

The high-quality stainless steel friction ring combined with the lightweight aluminium inner carrier ensures high load capacity while reducing weight. The specially developed Xtra Groove design improves brake response, supports heat dissipation and ensures consistently high braking performance. The Xtra Groove series was developed for riders who expect not only a sporty appearance but also noticeably improved braking performance.
