Rare Swatow Blue and White Censer – Ming Dynasty, 17th Century
A rare Swatow (Zhangzhou kiln) Fujian province blue and white porcelain censer dating to the 17th century, Ming Dynasty. Decorated with floral motifs and the Eight Trigrams (Bagua) associated with Taoism. The censer stands on three lion-head feet and is covered with crackled glaze.
