An original 1750 Georgian manuscript account, demonstrating fine penmanship, 

with multiple signatures relating to a complex mortgage / estate settlement, 

including Barton of Lansallos in South East Cornwall and numerous other transactions

It is a formal 18th century account, laid out in debit and contra form, recording principal sums, interest, mortgage assignments, rents and profits, goods supplied, charges and payments.

A usefull location reference is found in the clause “24 Apl. 1745 — To Cash paid to Mr James Williams on his Assigning the Mortg’d Parts of the Barton of Lanbsallos for Principal & Interest then due to him thereon — £91 10s.”

The reverse docket appears reads: “The Revd. Nath[aniel] Rowley to Mr John Avery — Acct Signed — 1 Dec. 1750”. The document is signed by John Avery and witnessed by others with elaborate signatures beneath.
