The item in question is in very good condition as you can see from photos, there are few scratches on the top as you can see which is to be expected from an older item like this.

It has been tested, works, plays the tapes, you fast forward, rewind, etc.

I do have to point out that when playing the tape you can see a narrow blurry line at the bottom as shown on photo of the tv screen, but it doesn't affect functionality, it still plays tapes well.

Remote is included, in very nice condition, few marks on the back as shown but overall very nice and works perfect. 2 batteries are included
